Terms, service & payment
Quotes and scope
Guide prices on this website are not a promise to complete every possible version of a service for that amount. A quote or service schedule confirms the deliverables, exclusions, included revisions, client inputs, timing and total price. Quotes are normally valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
Payment
- Jobs under $500: normally 100% before commencement.
- $500 to $1,499: normally 60% before commencement and 40% before final handover.
- $1,500 or more: normally 50% deposit, 25% at the first substantial checkpoint and 25% before final handover.
- Ongoing services are paid monthly in advance.
- Third-party costs are paid in advance or directly by the client where practical.
Changes and revisions
A revision adjusts the agreed direction. A new concept, changed objective, additional page, major rewrite, new deliverable or work outside the accepted brief is a variation. A variation is not charged without written approval.
Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for supplying accurate information, lawful source material, required permissions, timely feedback and any mandatory legal, regulatory or technical content. Final approval includes checking names, prices, factual claims and other business information.
Websites and third-party platforms
BDCS does not guarantee search rankings, social reach, sales, leads, funding, approvals, platform availability or algorithmic outcomes. Domain, hosting, printing, software, licence and platform fees are separate unless the quote specifically includes them.
Policies, HR and compliance-related documents
BDCS can structure, draft and format practical business material but does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, industrial-relations, WHS, cybersecurity or other regulated professional advice. Independent specialist review may be appropriate for documents carrying legal or regulatory risk.
Intellectual property
Final-use rights and source-file handover are determined by the accepted service schedule. The client must have permission to provide any logos, images, text, trademarks or other third-party material supplied for use.
Confidentiality
Non-public business information supplied for a job is treated as confidential and used for the agreed engagement, subject to disclosure required by law or reasonably necessary professional/service-provider involvement.
Problems and Australian Consumer Law
If delivered work materially fails the agreed brief, contact BDCS promptly with specific examples. Where the issue is within scope and can reasonably be corrected, BDCS will first seek to correct or re-perform the affected work. This does not create unlimited revisions or remove any non-excludable consumer rights.
